Decided to take a rest in Tivoli at the end of a 2-month trip around Europe, and booked 11 nights with Givovanna and Alessandro. Couldn’t have been more pleased! The room was very large and well appointed. Breakfast is served in a really lovely room with great music playing – a wonderful start to the day! Though my original plan was to just hang out and read, there is actually quite a bit to do in and around Tivoli that you wouldn’t want to miss, and Alessandro was always ready with ideas. Additionally, he actually drove me to Hadrian’s Villa one day, and really helped me get my plane ticket back to the states sorted out. Though he may not always be available to help out in this way, I saw that he always went the extra mile with guests. Tivoli is a super quick and cheap train ride from Rome (less than 30 minutes/around 3 USD) and in the future I will always use Tivoli as a base to see Rome. The other great thing is that the property is about 4 blocks from the train station, and a super short walk to the center of Tivoli. A big thanks to Alessandro, Giovanna and her incredibly sweet mother-in-law (who also happens to be a great baker)!
